This weekend we have a complimentary Card on big FOX. We’re finally getting the rematch with Dustin Poirier vs Eddie Alvarez after their first battle ended in a No Contest. These are just two of the most exciting fighters in the UFC and we ought to observe an wonderful fight here. DraftKings has some decent competitions out with this particular card and I was amazed to see that a 20k top prize in their own principal tournament. That’s precisely what I will be pursuing and I will be making a lot of LUs to throw to that. Here are a Couple of plays I like for Saturday and my fade of this week:
Money Game play of this week — Stack (Dustin Poirier $8,800 AND Eddie Alvarez $7,400)
This is an easy way to start my cash LU this week and I expect this to be quite popular in all cash game formats. These two were on pace to get a top scoring struggle in their first battle and I think we have an easy 100+ between the both of them here. I believe the winner of this struggle will score more than 100 points themselves and then we add all the sig strikes and other things from the failure also. But we promise ourselves that the triumph. The only way this fight does not score over a hundred DK points is someone gets kneed in the head prohibited and the fight is stopped short….
GPP play of this week — Hakeem Dawodu ($9,400)
I think that this matchup was put up for Dawodu a win. In addition, I believe Islam Makhachev, who is $200 more, will probably be very highly owned and this may be a good pivot him off to differentiate your LU a little bit. I really do think Dawodu will obtain some good ownership as well but I think he is a good GPP drama this week. I feel the most probable outcome in this fight is Dawodu becoming a (T)KO win. He must pay his off $9.4k salary if this is the situation, particularly if it’s early. He’s a really solid striker and we did not get to find out that in his UFC debut where he had been angry very early in the struggle. This is the best match for him to flaunt his striking and why there was so much hype behind him moving into his introduction. I believe we could see a 1st round KO here which makes Hakeem Dawodu my GPP drama of this week.
Underdog play of the week — Ion Cutelaba ($7,600)
The main reason Cutelaba is my underdog drama of the week is because there’s not any way he is not scoring at least 10x if he can get the win. He’s got big power and could find a 1st round KO here and score over 100 DK points. If he does this with his economical salary of $7.6k he’ll surely be in the winning lineup. This is a good fight to target both sides but points per salary wise, Cutelaba has one of those higher ceilings on the card. I don’t see this battle going to conclusion and the winner should score highly. I think if you’re making multiple lineups this weekend then you must definitely have vulnerability to Cutelaba.
Fade of this week — Katlyn Chookagian ($8,700)
I’m fading a couple of fighters this week personally, but the person I never even considered using was Katlyn Chookagian. It is not that I don’t believe she could win, since she for sure could. However, I don’t see her paying off an $8.7k DK salary with a win. I think we would need a finish from her in this fight to receive 10x that wages and I think that’s quite unlikely to take place. The most Chookagian has scored in a UFC fight so far in her career is 83 DK points. That would not be sufficient here to place her at the winning lineup at her 8.7k price tag. I think if you’re making 20 or less lineups this Saturday you may safely fade Chookagian and when she gets a triumph it should not hurt much.
